EUCC Tell City

EUCC Tell City ...to reflect the image of Jesus in our community and in the world. Pastors have served in the church since 1896. Rev.

Evangelical United Church of Christ in Tell City was started in January, 1866, by a group of devout Christians, many of whom were immigrants of Swiss and German heritage, who decided to build the first protestant church in Tell City. EUCC has served our community as the hands and feet of Christ for many years through many different ministries. Our current ministries include the Benevolent Fund, s

tarted in 1944, that loans medical equipment to the community free of charge; EUCC Local Emergency Fund helps those in need purchase food and pay utility bills; Table of Blessings, serves hot meals every Thursday at 5pm in collaboration with Catholic Charities; 10th Street Fall Fest is a community festival hosted by EUCC that provides a safe, fun, family friendly event for our community. Mark McDaniel began serving as our transitional interim pastor on September 7, 2021. Pastor Mark expects to be with us 18 - 24 months as we search for a settled pastor.

Our BIG announcement: If all goes well, we will be opening our Nifty Thrifty Shoppe next Wednesday, June 3. This will be located in the other half of the pantry building and will provide additional income to purchase food and hygiene items for our pantry. Our days and hours will coincide with Agape Thrift Store so that thrifters can shop both stores when they come to Cannelton. We are stocked to the ceiling with clothing, household items, kitchen wares, books, DVD's, furniture, and everything but the kitchen sink. Oh wait, I think we do have a kitchen sink!🤣🤣
