What does it take for blind eyes to truly see? This Sunday, we journeyed through John chapter 9, where Jesus healed a man born blind, not because of sin or failure, but so that the power of God could be put on full display. His miracle was not random. It was proof that he is the Messiah.
The formerly blind man's testimony was simple and powerful: "I was blind and now I see." He did not need a theology degree. He simply shared what he had experienced. That is exactly what Jesus calls each of us to do as we go through our daily lives.
Only Jesus saves sinners. No religious routine, no family history, no church attendance can substitute for a real relationship with him. If you recognize your need, he is ready to open your eyes.
