Shomer Shabbos Scouts: Troop 226 Troop 226 is a unique Jewish program emphasizing outdoor adventure, and life skills. We welcome boys ages 11-17.

Our vision is to prepare the next generation of leaders in Klal Yisrael and our mission is Torah-centered outdoor adventure. Shomer Shabbos and Kosher Boy Scout Troop chartered by the Teaneck Jewish Center.

Our scouts set sail on the Long Island Sound, learning the ropes (literally!) of sailing, teamwork, and adventure. From hoisting sails to navigating the open water, it was an unforgettable day.

Troop 226 Teaneck, NJ had an amazing weekend at Alpine Scout Camp! From pre-Shabbos cooking and the axe yard to a meaningful Shabbos and an unforgettable campfire kumzitz, it was nonstop adventure and fun!
