🥬 LET US… (“Lettuce” 😄)
Today’s message reminded us that Jesus said the two greatest commandments are simple:
❤️ Love God.
❤️ Love Your Neighbor.
In Hebrews 10:22-25, we are given four “Let Us” reminders:
🥬 Let us draw near to God with sincere hearts.
🥬 Let us hold tightly to the hope we have because God is faithful.
🥬 Let us encourage one another toward love and good deeds.
🥬 Let us not give up meeting together.
Pastor shared that whenever he and his wife travel, they make it a priority to find a church to attend. What a powerful example for our families. Our children are always watching and learning what is important to us.
We also talked about baptism, which is a beautiful public declaration of faith in Jesus. While baptism itself doesn’t save us, it is an outward symbol of the inward transformation Christ has made in our lives.
One thought that really stood out was the parable of the servant who buried his one talent instead of using it. God has given each of us gifts, opportunities, and people to influence. He doesn’t want us to hide them. He wants us to use them to love others, make disciples, and grow His Kingdom.
God has never made a promise He hasn’t fulfilled. He is faithful.
May our love for Him continue to grow, and may that love overflow into our homes, our church family, and our community.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
