Youth Capital Campaign Art Contest

We are excited to share that our Youth Capital Campaign Art Contest was a tremendous success, with 27 amazing entries submitted by the children of our parish and school!

The artwork was displayed in the school library, where, staff, and visitors had the opportunity to view and vote on their favorites.

After careful voting, the artwork has now been narrowed down to six finalists. These six beautiful pieces will be displayed in the church for the parish to enjoy. We invite everyone to participate in the final round of voting by making a monetary donation toward their favorite artwork.

Each piece of artwork has been assigned a number. To vote, simply place your monetary donation in the envelope that corresponds to the number of your favorite artwork. The envelopes are located on the table near the display. The artwork receiving the highest total donation amount will be declared the winner and will be professionally framed and proudly displayed in the Parish Center for all to admire.

Our children have shown outstanding stewardship, creativity, and enthusiasm in supporting the Capital Campaign. Their dedication has been inspiring, and now it's our turn to show them how much we appreciate their efforts. All donations collected through the voting process will be donated directly to the Capital Campaign.

We appreciate your support and encouragement of these talented young artists as they help us continue Honoring Our Legacy, Securing Our Future.

Corpus Christi Sunday
The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Today, the Catholic Church celebrates Corpus Christi, a beautiful feast dedicated to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. On this day, we are reminded that the Eucharist is not simply a symbol, but truly the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ given to us out of His infinite love.
At every Mass, we are invited to the Lord's table to receive the greatest gift He could give, Himself. The Eucharist nourishes our souls, strengthens us for life's challenges, unites us as one family in Christ, and reminds us that Jesus remains with us always.
As we celebrate Corpus Christi, may we renew our love for the Blessed Sacrament, approach the altar with grateful hearts, and strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in our homes, workplaces, schools, and community.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who remains with us in the Holy Eucharist. Deepen our faith in His Real Presence and fill our hearts with reverence, gratitude, and love each time we approach Your altar.
May the Body and Blood of Christ strengthen us to live as His disciples, to serve others with compassion, and to be witnesses of Your love in the world. Help us to hunger for You above all else and to trust in Your presence in every moment of our lives.
Jesus, Bread of Life, nourish our souls and lead us ever closer to You.
Amen.

"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever." John 6:51

Blessed Corpus Christi to all! May the Eucharist be the source and summit of our lives today and always. ✝️🙏🏻💛

Please pray for James McCarty and Kristine Andruch.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

May God's healing grace, comfort, and peace be with all who are facing illness today. 🙏💙

Heavenly Father,

We lift up all those who are sick, suffering, recovering, or awaiting answers. Wrap them in Your loving embrace and grant them strength for each new day. Ease their pain, calm their fears, and fill their hearts with hope.
Lord Jesus, Divine Physician, guide the hands of doctors, nurses, caregivers, and all who provide comfort and healing. May Your peace surround those who feel weary, and may they find courage in knowing they are never alone.
Bless their families and loved ones with patience, faith, and perseverance. Help us as a community to support one another through prayer, kindness, and compassion.
We place our trust in You, knowing that Your love is greater than any illness and Your mercy is without end.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes, patroness of the sick, may all who suffer experience Your healing presence and peace.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Change is never easy, especially in our parish family where our priests become such an important part of our lives and faith journeys. As we prepare to welcome a new pastor, it is natural to feel both excitement and uncertainty. Yet, as Catholics, we trust that God never leads us astray. His plans are greater than our own, and He continues to guide St. Mary's through every season. We are grateful for the gifts Father Tomy will bring to our parish and look forward to seeing how God will work through his leadership. Attached is an article found in this month’s Catholic Times, highlighting an inspiring initiative Father Tomy introduced in his parishes, a wonderful example of his vision, faith, and commitment to building vibrant parish communities.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Christ: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
John 15:13.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the courage, faith, and selflessness of those who made our freedoms possible. Let us also pray for all military families, veterans, and those still serving. 🇺🇸✝️

Heavenly Father,
Today we remember with gratitude the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Welcome them into Your eternal peace and surround their families with Your comfort and love. Bless all who serve our country, protect them from harm, and guide us to be people of peace, compassion, and unity. May we never take for granted the freedoms won through sacrifice, and may we honor their memory by living with faith, courage, and kindness.

Amen.
