Greetings everyone! I apologize for neglecting this page for so long.

With the new year comes a new schedule for our services:

Sunday-9:30 AM prayer, 10 AM worship
Wednesday-6:00 PM midweek service

When we deviate from this schedule, I will post it here for all to see.

If you need a ride to / from church, you can send us a message on this page or call Pastor Crist at 217-827-9724.

We hope you will come worship Jesus with us!

Seriously asking you to join me in prayer. My love to everyone who reads this. Let's pray for each other today because prayers are needed right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my family and friends, wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or worries of any kind and need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of my family and friends. I did it for someone else, and you can, too! I copied & posted to my wall. Done!

I'm sure most folks on here do not share my faith in Jesus or the Bible.

Regardless of your beliefs, you are about to see God shake this nation like never before.

Now is the time to start following Jesus! He loves YOU so much that He died for you, so you don't have to go to a devil's hell. You have a soul and it's much more important than you might believe

If you have turned away from Jesus, NOW is the time to repent and turn back to Him.

Jesus is going to be your only sure help when everything as we know it comes apart at the seams.

God is speaking this message through His prohets

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

Our end time Bible study on the book of Revelations begins this Tuesday (August 2) at 6:00 PM!

If you desire to understand what will take place before Jesus comes back to earth, this is for you!

We don't care if you are in church or not. We simply want EVERYONE to know what is in store for all humanity and how to prepare for this historic event!

We will try to close each service at 7:00. If you can't make it to every lesson you are still welcome to join us! We will do our best to tell you what you missed.

We can provide transportation to and from these services if you live near Taylorville. Just send us a message or contact pastor John @ 217-827-9724.

ARE YOU THE CHURCH OUTSIDE OF THE CHURCH?

Recently the Lord led me to take a closer look at how I spend my time during the week. I can honestly say that I don't do nearly as much for the Lord as I should. I find that I'm giving a good deal of my time to things that really aren't that important.

How about you? Are you spending more time on yourself or the things of the Lord?

At the very least, we should devote time to prayer and reading the bible every day. We could help out at church by mowing the grass, cleaning the building, etc. We could tell someone about Jesus and invite them to church while we are out and about. We could even sit down with someone for a bible study if they are interested. We can't leave all of these tasks to the ministerial staff in our churches!

I'm not writing this to condemn anyone. I simply want to encourage us to be better stewards of the time we are given. Time given to the Lord's work is never in vain. He see's our work and takes note!

Those of us with jobs and families should try to do all we can to help out too. We might not be able to do as much as we want, but every bit we can do will make a difference in the long run.

We WILL NOT have service Wednesday evening (12/21).
We will have our Christmas service Saturday morning @ 9:00 AM.
