John was looking in the wrong direction (Rev 1:10-12). We too get discouraged because we look in the wrong direction. Peter began to sink when looked at the waves (Matt 14:29-31). He was all right when his eyes were on the Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever the circumstances, our eyes must be on the Lord Jesus Christ. We must present Him, Preach Him; and keep our eyes on Him.
