LOCATION UPDATE! Abiding Church, this Sunday at 11am, Church in the Park! Meet us at Legacy Park, 336 Rocky Slope Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.

No full service this week, just sharing in the Word, light worship and prayer, then food and fun outside. Pavilion’s reserved, with a playground for the kids, volleyball, and an open field.

Bring a dish to share and any outdoor games you have. Come spend time with your church family. See you Sunday! Bring some friends and family with you!

You can attend a service every week for years and still walk out a stranger.

That is the ache a lot of us feel for people who have never encountered the true power of the church.

On 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays, we move beyond services into discipleship where every person is not just seen in passing but known closely as a brother or sister in Christ.

We still love the larger room. We gather there to be ignited. But we gather in homes to be formed. Both carry His presence. Both are necessary.

So if you have been quietly longing for more than a service, for a table instead of a back row, this is your invitation. There is a seat with your name on it.

As we head into Pentecost Sunday, it’s important for us to remember the reason Pentecost happened in the first place. The empowerment of the Holy Spirit, so that we could be a witness to him and preach the gospel. Tomorrow at 10 AM we’re gonna be gathering in downtown Greer, SC. Meet us at the fountain in front of City Hall, where we will pray and disperse to go and encourage and pray for people throughout the city.

This Sunday at Abiding Church, we’re gathering with expectation for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

We believe Pentecost was never meant to be remembered as a moment in time but lived as a reality in the life of every believer.

“Pour out Your Spirit on all flesh.” (Joel 2:28)

Come hungry for His presence.
Come ready for worship, prayer, healing, freedom, and deliverance.

What a sad feeling when we opened the audio files from this worship night and they were all blank….ugghhh. All we have the the audio from the cameras. I thought about this night and what the Lord did. These moments still deserve to be released! God did so much and is pouring out his Spirit on and we can’t keep silent when he shows up in gatherings like this.

And…this is just the beginning. We gather every month as church for worship nights but…we’re planning another larger worship night in June and this time we will have audio backups! And will be mixing and releasing the songs that come from these nights….

Our goal with every gathering is to lay aside our plans for His! His presence is what matters most. When his face is what we seek…his glory is always poured out.

In Acts people did not say these men have started a new religion….They did not say these men have built an impressive church….They said these men have turned the world upside down.
And now they are in our city!!

Acts 17:6 was not a compliment from admirers. It was a complaint from people whose economy, culture, and power structures were being disrupted by the presence of genuine disciples carrying genuine Kingdom authority.

That is what real discipleship produces. Not just changed individuals. Changed regions. Shifted atmospheres. Disrupted systems. Reformed culture.

This is what the Great Commission was always designed to do. Not fill seats. Not produce religious activity. But raise up men and women so rooted in the presence of God and so grounded in their Kingdom assignment that when they walk into a room, a neighborhood, a city, something has to move.

When real disciples show up to a region, something begins to shake and quake.

The question is not whether God wants to do this in our generation. He does.

The question is whether we are willing to be the kind of disciples who make hell nervous when we show up.
