It functions to provide a place for Muslims to worship and to spread Islam in the United States by providing religious and educational facilities for members of the society. The Islamic Center of Greenville (ISG) is located in Greenville, South Carolina. The ISG encompasses a masjid and a multi-purpose hall. The masjid facility hosts the five daily prayers and the weekend school. The multi-purpose

facility is known as the Upstate Islamic Center (UIC). The UIC serves as a multi-purpose hall and is used for Friday Prayer, Taraweeh Prayers, Iftars, community dinners, and is open for reservation by the community at large. Future expansions will include a building for a full time Islamic school (As-Sabeel Academy). Our community is very diverse, with individuals of all nationalities and cultures. The center is open every day of the year for all payers and more and serves as a place of worship, a place of gathering, a host for community events, and interfaith dialogue. We welcome visitors of all faiths and are open to anyone who wants to learn about our religion and our rapidly growing community.

اللهم أهِل علينا هذا الشهر بالأمن والإيمان، والسلامة والإسلام، وبالشفاء من الأسقام، وبالعون على الصلاة والصيام، والقيام، وتلاوة القرآن. اللهم سلّمنا لشهر رمضان، وتسلمه منا، وسلمنا فيه حتى ينقضي، وقد عفوت عنا، وغفرت لنا، ورحمتنا.

O Allah, bring this month upon us with safety, faith, peace, Islam, well-being, protection from illnesses, and help in prayer, fasting, standing in worship, and reciting the Quran. O Allah, grant us safety for the month of Ramadan, accept it from us, and keep us safe within it until it ends, having forgiven us, pardoned us, and had mercy on us.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُم ورَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Brother Bilal Oglesby (husband of Sister Sylvia Bilal) of Clemson has passed away. May Allah shower him with His Mercy, and grant him the highest rank in Jannah.

Janazah Prayer will be held at the Masjid on Wade Hampton Blvd. tomorrow, July 2, after Dhuhr prayer, inshaAllah. We will pray Dhuhr at 2:00 PM.

InshaAllah, we will proceed for burial to Riaz-ul-Jannah located in Ware Shoals after the funeral prayer.

We need a minimum of (10) brothers to lower the body in the grave. Please make every effort to attend the funeral prayer and burial.

May Allah give patience and strength to the family. Aameen.
