Please join us this Sunday, August 30 (a "Fifth Sunday") at 10:30 AM as we have a good old-fashioned hymn singing. Marty Cook will be giving a little history and context for each hymn. There is a reason why historically our denomination's people were known as the "Singing Methodists." Come and make a "joyful noise" unto our wonderful God!

Dear Church, I need to ask you to considering signing up for a 30-minute prayer slot to support our Kairos Weekend (Oct 1-4) at Perry Correctional. Each volunteer is asked to get 5 persons signed up. We have a goal to fill 142 prayer wheel slots to achieve the 72-hours-of-continuos-prayer during Kairos weekend #50 at Perry. The Prayer Vigil tool is a safe platform used by many Kairos teams. It provides a dashboard that will report the number of slots , slots filled, and open slots.

We are excited about celebrating 68 years of God's goodness at Lee Road this Sunday. We invite everyone to join us as we take a fun look back at the 1970s as well as cast a vision forward to the future God has in store for us!

Joyce outdid herself again for tonight’s church supper: fresh corn, butterbeans, fried green tomatoes, cantaloupe, sliced tomatoes, and cucumber salad! Thank you, Joyce!! Also thanks to the helpers today: Marcy, Smitty, Denise, and Prudy!
