I have been lax in monitoring this page. I never thought that I would have ever in my wildest dream when I created it that I would be a candidate for a heart transplant. So it has come home to me. It is very important for everyone to become an organ donor. Just like the page says, an organ donated by someone can prolong another's life. And even give them a better quality of life. I began this journey in March when my heart stopped beating and I was driving with my wife down the road. The incident could have been disastrous but the Lord had control. Everything turned out ok and neither one of us was hurt. Like when Moses parted the water, the oncoming traffic and the car that were coming up from behind were going around us. My defibulator shocked me back to life. Then my Cardiologist recommended that a heart transplant was my only hope short of divine intervention.
Since that eventful day when my world was turned upside down there have been many bumps, potholes and turns leading up to present day. I always was an organ donor from my first drivers license. I never realized the importance of organ donation. Brothers and sisters i realize it now. I invite you to like this page and post thoughts as well as experiences so that those who are reluctant to become a donor will see the importance of giving the gift of life.
Those who have already had their transplants are urged to tell of their experiences and feelings. Those like me that are awaiting that amazing gift of life are urged to publish their thought and experiences n this page.
Anyone can become a friend but i have met so many wonderful people so far that have been affected by transplanting some organ in their body. We have become a close knit family. Close in that we know each other's feelings and can support each other. We would love to have others help us with their support. We need daily prayer and even fellowship.
I n closing , I would like invite you to help us and others by donating
