First Mexican Baptist Church of Taylor on 1699 West 2nd is getting ready for VBS 2026 Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is Invite kids to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.
At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world. Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12

First Mexican Baptist Church of Taylor hosted an annual event at Grace Place with Fellowship and with a Mexican meal, music by Lisa. We would like to thank God for the church ladies of the First Mexican Baptist Church who blessed and prepared the enchiladas, rice and beans for the residence at Grace Place. God is Good. La Primera Iglesia Bautista Mexicana de Taylor organizó un evento anual en Grace Place con la comunidad y una comida mexicana, con música por Lisa.
