Fatherhood isn't about having all the answers—it's about showing up, loving well, and pointing your family toward Jesus.

This Sunday, we wrapped up our Our Imperfect Family series with an honest conversation about the joys, challenges, and lessons of fatherhood. From adoption and blended families to parenting adult children, one truth stood out:

There is no perfect family, but there is a perfect Father.

Whether you're raising toddlers, teenagers, or grandchildren, your influence matters. The way you love, lead, forgive, and model faith leaves a lasting impact for generations to come.

Thank you to all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully invest in their families every day. We celebrate you!

Peter believed in Jesus.

But belief wasn't the question Jesus asked.

After the denial. After the failure. After the fishing trip back to what was familiar. Jesus met Peter on the shore with one simple question:

"Do you love me?"

What a special Sunday at CompassLife! 🙌

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming guest minister Greg Holmgren, who challenged us with a powerful message from the life of Peter.

Through Jesus' question, "Do you love me?", we were reminded that faith is about more than believing—it's about following. Just as Jesus called Peter to "feed my sheep," we're called to love people, serve others, and share the hope we've found in Christ.

You were created for more than just waiting. ❤️

This week in our Imperfect Family series, we explored an often-overlooked part of family life: singleness. Whether by choice, circumstance, divorce, or loss, many people find themselves in a season they never expected. Yet we were reminded that our value is never determined by our relationship status—our identity is found in Christ.

We talked about how life can place the lonely times in life for good reason, how meaningful community can change lives, and how every season of life can be filled with purpose. Instead of putting life on hold while waiting for circumstances to change, we're called to live fully, serve boldly, build relationships, and embrace the opportunities God has placed in front of us today.
