What happens when fear locks the door? In John 20:19–23, the disciples are hiding behind locked doors after the crucifixion—afraid, uncertain, and stuck. But Jesus enters the room anyway. He speaks peace, breathes the Holy Spirit upon them, and sends them into the world with purpose.

This Pentecost message explores how the Spirit of God transforms fearful bystanders into courageous builders of God’s Kingdom. Through the Johannine Pentecost story, we discover that Jesus still walks into locked rooms, breathes new life into weary hearts, and empowers ordinary people for extraordinary mission.

We had a great opportunity today as we worshipped together using hymns from the past in a bluegrass style! Today these songs were more than just a song, they were the message reminding us that it is sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word. It reminded us that we are living in the midst of our Father's world and there is much that we learn about our creative Heavenly Father!

A huge big thank you to our music team for bringing such a special sound to the room today and focusing our eyes on what matters!
