Join us on Friday, June 12th, for the Feast of the Sacred Heart at St. Andrew the Apostle, 19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton, MA 02780.

The evening will begin with Holy Mass at 6:00 p.m., followed by Benediction and Eucharistic Adoration. During the Mass, the Sacred Heart statue will be blessed in honor of this beautiful feast day.

Throughout the night, parish families will lead the Rosary hourly as we remain in prayer before Our Lord.

The evening will conclude with Holy Mass at 12:00 a.m. and the blessing of the Immaculate Heart of Mary statue.

In preparation for this special celebration, on June 11th the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

All are welcome to attend and spend this holy evening in prayer and devotion.

New Sidewalk OPEN (and Water Drainage Repaired)!

After months of construction disruption on the Middle Street side of St. Anne’s, the new sidewalk has been opened for access. While easing access to the shrine, sometimes it’s what is underneath that took the most time and effort to repair, and that was the ancient water drainage conduits that had failed over the 120+ years since the building was erected. We’re sure you’ve noticed the heavy equipment, torn up lawn, and limited access…while there are still the ‘final touches’ such as repairing the lawn, returning the Blessed Mother statue to her place, repairing the shrubs which line the path, and general cleanup as part of the post-construction work, this phase of the exterior renovations (and there is work taking place on the north side trancepts; we sure you’ve noticed the equipment there…) is winding down for, we hope, another 120 years.

St. Anne Shrine depends on the generosity of its visitors, benefactors, volunteers, and sponsors of our various activities to allow us to continue to repair, improve, and increase the services and devotions we present for our visitors and friends. It is only through this generosity that we invest 100% of the offerings and donations to the preservation and restoration of this landmark in Fall River. Please stop by and see what St. Anne’s Shrine is becoming in this, the 154th year since our patroness was brought to the city.

Join us on Sunday, May 24th, as we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Ghost at Annunciation of the Lord Parish, 31 First Street, Taunton.

🇵🇹 Portuguese Mass at 12:00 Noon

Following Mass, there will be a procession to Our Lady of Lourdes School, 52 First Street, Taunton, where the festivities will continue with:

🍲 Traditional Holy Ghost soups
🎟️ Raffles
🎶 Surprise folklore group at 4:00 PM
👑 Announcement of the 2027 Domingas
