Taunton House Of Hope Hope of Hope is currently running a youth/Young adult Special need ministry.

Imagine a church where special needs kids and their families are welcomed and valued. Imagine a sensory oriented children's ministry (trampoline, sensory tables and a trained and caring staff). Imagine you are able to sit in a service without worrying about being judged by others because your child has a meltdown or has atypical behaviors.

As Jonah was asked to do something from God that he did not understand. Right now there's been so much devastation around us that we don't understand. The mission of House of Hope has and will continue to be a place of safety and acceptance for those who are different. The most vulnerable of our society.
there has been a prominent Christian political leader gun down in public. School shootings with our babies dying. There has been a lot of death in the special need community. Misunderstandings with police and child wanderings. It can feel like everything is just really heavy. But the word of God says that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and evil forces that we cannot see. The good word also says they will know you are my disciples for the love you have for one another. As we focus on love and light and being grateful for our lives and our families. Look to God who's the author of finisher of our faith. As we pray for the things we do not understand let's try to give God our heavy hearts and fear and know that no matter what is going on around us we can give our cares to Jesus because he cares for us. House of Hope was created in 2013. As a special need children's church program for children of all disabilities. But as the kids in the program stayed and grew up. And it just so happens all the kids that have joined us within the last 5 years were older kids. We have developed a very strong young adult group. But that being said any adult would be welcomed upstairs in the sanctuary or at our small group downstairs. Liberty Christian center Where house of Hope resides is very open to all ages and all disabilities. Our children's church director is very open and supportive to helping abled and differently abled children acclimate to a wonderful children Church experience.

We are finishing a 8 week study on communion. November 1st we will partake with communion. Everyone in our class has accepted Christ as their Savior and has been water baptized.
