When children are 2 years old, they are eligible to begin Nursery School, which offers a supportive first time school experience through play-based opportunities. We are committed to preparing our children for success in future endeavors through life-readiness skills, self-confidence and a love of learning. In addition, we have a thriving Parenting Center for infants and toddlers to attend weekly classes with a care-giver.

Our students are so lucky to have built in enrichment activities throughout their mornings. We love and appreciate our dedicated specialists - Jil (our in-house Imagination Station & What if Room), Lori (library), Morgan (Yoga), and Sarah (Music & Movement). Here are some snapshots from the past few weeks. Shabbat Shalom!

You may or may not know that our very own Lisa Whitman is an incredible singer and her very first album of children's songs was just published.

This is a labor of love that has been MANY years in the making. When Lisa first started teaching in Gesher, she began writing catchy songs for every letter of the alphabet. That was just the beginning! She has been singing her letter songs with all of the Gesher classes ever since, which remains one of Lisa's very favorite parts of her job!

Here's the link to Lisa's album, which can be heard across many music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, Pandora, and YouTube: https://lisawhitman.hearnow.com

Congratulations to Lisa on this amazing accomplishment! We couldn't be prouder to have this multi-talented, soon-to-be viral, children's singing sensation as our ECC Director. She's the best!

Apples, honey cakes, and shofars… oh my! This week, our teachers focused classroom conversations on how each of us can make changes this coming year to be kinder, more helpful, or make better choices. Some classes even did their own version of Tashlich with rice paper and water-filled sensory bins. Wishing everyone a meaningful Yom Kippur weekend.
