Today, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of our beloved First Lady, Lauraetta A. Craig.

First Lady Lauraetta Craig was so much more than a title. She was a woman of faith, grace, strength, love, and service. She loved God wholeheartedly, cherished her family deeply, and faithfully loved and served her church family, all while standing devotedly beside her husband, Pastor David W. Craig.

Her beautiful smile, her words of encouragement, her elegance, her laughter, her wisdom, and most importantly, her unwavering love for God will never be forgotten. She had a special way of pouring into others, making people feel loved, seen, and encouraged. Her life touched more people than words could ever express, and the seeds she planted through her faith, love, and service will continue to grow for generations to come.

While our hearts ache because we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for every memory, every lesson, every prayer, every act of kindness, and every moment God allowed us to share with her.

First Lady Craig, you served well. You loved well. You lived a life that made a difference. Your earthly journey may have ended, but the seeds you planted will continue to grow for generations to come.

We ask that you keep our Pastor David W. Craig, the Craig family, the Autery family and our entire church family lifted in prayer during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, First Lady Lauraetta Craig.
Your beautiful legacy will forever live in our hearts.

The Unhoused Community Assistance arm of our FMBCEB Community Outreach Program was at Linn Park today blessing our Unhoused brothers and sisters with a meal, goodie bags and cold drinks! Thank you to the Outreach members who assisted today, Stephanie Jordan,
Arnena Burnell-Thomas, Virginia Walker, and Lois Thomas. Thank you to the FMBCEB Women’s Ministry for their drink donations and a special shout out to the siblings of Stephanie Jordan who assist at every outing for the unhoused community! We appreciate every donation that helps make this assistance possible. Love Is what Love Does! 🙏🏽
