Healing River Church is a newer church in Tarboro, NC. Our services are on the 1st Sundays of each m Tarboro, NC: settled by 1733. thus "Healing River Church".

In early days, the area was widely known as "Tawboro,” a name attributed to "Taw,” the Tuscarora Indian word for "river of health.”.. There is still a healing river that flows! Ezekiel 47:9 – “for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.”

It is the mission of Healing River Church to provide connection for all people to Jesus Christ through worship, discipleship,

service, and fellowship. We are His church “Living with Purpose… Loving with Passion." Our services are a multicultural gathering of believers in worship and Bible teaching. Your children will love Kid’s Zone… exciting fun and ever-learning! There's a place for you at Healing River Church!

God moved in a mighty way during our Bi-lingual service on Sunday! There’s something so special and unifying about worshipping together in duo languages, it’s just a small taste of what Heaven will be like! 🙌🏼

There's something about coming together with our Tarboro family. Every way and walk of life does not separate us because the blood of Jesus unifies us! The devil can't stop a unified church!

We are thrilled for our bi-lingual service tomorrow, as we join with our sister congregation in Tarboro, El Farro. Bring worship! Bring faith! Bring expectation! We're excited to be with you tomorrow at 2pm. Anyone and everyone is invited to worship. Jesus loves you and so do we.

Racism is a heart issue, but thankfully what you see here is what happens when the heart of God meets the heart of man. Healing River Church Family & our lovely city of Tarboro, we've always been about loving God, and loving you. For when we love God, we can't help but love you! This is the church leadership that that counts it a blessing, privilege and honor to get to love you and be loved by you! This church is literally a melting pot of ethnicity here in Tarboro, but one thing makes us the same: we all needed a heart transplant. This world needs a heart transplant as well!

We all had a life of sin, but now are one in the body of Christ, which is the church of the living God. We've been redeemed, filled with the Holy Ghost, baptized in Jesus Name and our heart has been changed!

At the foot of the cross we are all equal.

Racism is a real sin & condition of the heart that we WILL NOT stand for: God's love is greater! The only way to destroy hate is to change the heart. That's why Jesus is still the answer & always will be-it's His speciality!

We miss you, we still love you & are praying for you. Some of us can't even imagine how many of you are feeling in this time & some of us have been right there with you in our similar experiences, but one thing is for sure: we ALL stand together with you as our brothers & sisters in The Lord. We are family, as the bride of Christ, with the same family name, the name of Jesus Christ. We all have the same blood, the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no devil too big or trial to great that will stop us from loving you, loving all people, & sharing this love which will heal the hearts of hate in this world. Please join us as we pray, reach & love with God's love. Our world needs Jesus.

We love & miss all of our Healing River Church Family! Pastor Wiggins along with the staff have been praying and thinking of you all.

The word for this season, is "to read The Word." The Bible can be described as:

The Word of God stands forever & everything has to bow to it. This is a time to pray, to seek God & to know Him, for in doing so, we will experience the victory, & experience God in His glory. Life has it's seasons & we need to keep our focus on Jesus in all of them. His Word is the instruction that all mankind needs for their hurting souls. His word is what will guide us in these trying times. Let The Lord speak to you through His Word today! He loves you and won't forsake you.
