nother. Our times of service are on Sundays: a spoken service at 8:00 a.m. (Holy Eucharist, Rite I) and a service with music at 11:00 a.m. (Holy Eucharist, Rite II).

Adult VBS is Coming to St. Andrew’s!

Who says kids get to have all the fun? This summer, St. Andrew’s is thrilled to host an Adult Vacation Bible School for the entire Rocky Mount Convocation! Join us from Sunday, June 21st through Thursday, June 25th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM each evening.

We will kick off every night with a heavy hors d’oeuvres potluck (bring your favorite finger foods to share!), dive into a great lesson taught by The Rev. Becky, and close the evening together with the beautiful, peaceful service of Compline.

Don’t worry about finding a babysitter—full children’s programming will be available so the whole family can come. Mark your calendars, whip up your favorite appetizer, and get ready for a great week of fellowship, learning, and prayer!

Don’t want to drive to Rocky mount? You can select online or ask us to see if we can set up a satellite location at your congregation!

On May 17th the Diocese of North Carolina Companion Committee, Worldwide Missions Committee, Bishop Sam Rodman and Father Stephen Mazingo joined with the Diocese of Newcastle, Matlosane, and two Diocese in Zimbabwe along with the Archbishop of the Province of Central Africa in the Diocese of Botswana for the ordination of the first women Priests in Botswana and the Province of Central Africa. 🇧🇼

There 14 women were ordained in a service that lasted five and a half hours, and was filled with the Holy Spirit!

Our youth recently attended a retreat at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Rocky Mount.

Centered on “Living Our Baptismal Covenant,” the retreat included fellowship, learning and service.

The other churches in the Rocky Mount Convocation who were a part of this weekend were St. Timothy’s (Wilson), Good Shepherd (Rocky Mount), St. Andrew’s (Rocky Mount), and Guadalupana (Wilson).

It was a great weekend and we look forward to more youth events together in the future!
