Since the union of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan has tried to drive a wedge in marriages and destroy families. He knows if he can wreck our homes then he can eventually destroy a society. Often his strategy is subtle, and his weapons seem insignificant before he launches major attacks. This Sunday Pastor Gary will continue his message from last week and share some Biblically based counsel on how we can not only survive but thrive in our marriages. It is obvious that marriages and the nuclear family are under spiritual attack, perhaps more so than ever in this generation. It is part of the enemy’s strategy to ultimately destroy a nation. If the carpenter from Nazareth is the greatest home builder, it stands to reason that the Devil is the greatest home wrecker. It is not always the big things that we struggle with. It is less likely that we will be swallowed by the whale of sin, but rather we can be nibbled to death by the minnows that irritate us and devour our marriages. It is not always the wrecking ball but sometimes it’s the termites. This Sunday Pastor Gary continues his sermon series on the home and will identify some of the small things. Hope to see you then!

Church family, tonight we’re diving into one of the most practical and powerful chapters in all of God’s Word — Book of Proverbs chapter 3.

Honestly… this is one of those passages that meets every single one of us right where we are living.

Because if we’re truthful:

* we all wrestle with worry,
* control,
* fear,
* overthinking,
* and trying to carry things God never intended for us to carry.

And right in the middle of all that, God says:

> “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…”

Tonight we’re gonna talk about:

* what it really means to trust God,
* why we keep leaning on our own understanding,
* how wisdom brings peace and direction,
* and how God even uses difficult seasons to shape us and grow us.

We’ll also look at some powerful insights from pastors like Charles Stanley and David Jeremiah as we walk verse by verse through this incredible chapter.

If not addressed the beautiful melody of marriage can deteriorate into major conflict.
