There was a time when this was simply a vision God placed in Pastor Keith’s heart to love and serve the families of our local school in a tangible way.
It started with one bounce house, a few hot dogs, backpacks, and a desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Today, by God’s grace, that vision has grown into an event serving more than 300 individuals, alongside 20+ community partners and organizations providing backpacks, school supplies, shoes, haircuts, health assessments, and so much more. Every resource given represents one less barrier for a student and one more reminder to a family that they are seen, loved, and supported.
We’re incredibly grateful for every volunteer, sponsor, vendor, and partner who helped make this day possible. While we pray the families were blessed, the truth is, we were blessed too.
Thank You, Lord, for entrusting us with the opportunity to serve our community. And thank you to the families of Shaw Elementary for allowing us to be a small part of your back-to-school season.
This is only the beginning. We look forward to continuing to love, serve, and walk alongside our Shaw Elementary families!
