Bayshore Baptist Church 100 Year Celebration

What an amazing weekend!!!! The celebration continued today with an inspiring worship service including a fantastic choir. We opened the corner stone which was filled with historical memorabilia. And we ended the service with a group photo on the front steps. Over 200 congregants were there today. Past and present members came together to celebrate “A Century of Faith and a Future of Hope”!

Centennial choir…. We will be rehearsing on Saturday, March 21 at 2pm in the sanctuary. We are singing 2 pieces “Majesty and Glory of Your Name” and “Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul”.
I will attach YouTube videos of the songs so you can listen to them.

So the “fun fact” this week is about weddings! We estimated that there have been over 1000 weddings between the two different locations of Bayshore Baptist Church. We have not been able to come up with the exact numbers, but I figured that was a good estimation.
That being said, I would love to see your wedding pictures. Who was married at Bayshore? Either in the beautiful sanctuary or the quaint chapel.
If you are coming to the Centennial event, which is now only about a month away, please bring a framed wedding photo and we will have a place for you to put it for the weekend. You can take it with you when you leave. But in the meantime, please comment any wedding pictures on this post and leave us a name and a year from the wedding. I think this is going to be fun to see all the different variations of styles.
