Dear Friend of Calvary,
I am writing to give you an update on the damage from last week's power surge, as well as a report on an unexpected plumbing issue.
Regarding the power surge...
Our ministry volunteers have finished reviewing all of our equipment and have discovered roughly $2,300 worth of damage. While our surge protectors did their job, damage from lightning strikes are unfortunately unavoidable.
Regarding the unexpected plumbing issue...
After experiencing issues with the toilets in the front building, it was discovered that a pipe leading from the building to the septic system had failed due to corrosion and tree roots. This required an emergency repair totaling $3,982.
Summary of Unexpected Expenses...
Equipment Replacement: $2,300
Emergency Plumbing Repair: $3,982
Total Financial Impact: $6,282
Moving Forward...
We are currently in the process of replacing the damaged electronics, and the plumbing repairs were successfully completed yesterday (7/7/26).
If you would like to donate toward these unexpected costs, you may make an online donation, send a check, or make a contribution in person.
God has always been faithful to supply our needs. We trusted Him then, and we trust Him now. Thank you so much for your continued faithfulness in supporting Calvary, both through your regular giving and during unexpected times like these!
In Service to Jesus,
Jesse Martinez
