Today 21 from our community gathered around the table to celebrate thanksgiving!! This includes residents, alumni, family and staff. We are so grateful to First Pres of Tampa for provided the ingredients! All of our residents worked together to create an AMAZING meal!!
As we ate together we went around and shared what we are grateful for this year. Here’s a few things that were shared - “this being the first thanksgiving I’ve been able to celebrate for a long time”, “sisters to celebrate with”, “”recovery” and of course “created”!
We are wishing each of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Everyone, with school winding down I wanted to have our pool party at the Whitaker's house this week. I know this storm may not be conducive to having it but if the weather permits we'll have a blast! Take a chance to invite your friends while you are at school this week and bring them out for pizza and games.

Hey everyone, Just a few updates as we countdown to Christmas.

First: The Winter Break Lock-in is scheduled for this coming Sunday, 27th. We picked this date because it won't disrupt Christmas or New Year's Eve plans but still gives the students a chance to stay up late and hang out. Shoot me a message or email if you plan on coming so I know how much pizza to order. Bring a sleeping bag and pillows for movies in the student theater. (I still need a female chaperon from 8:00pm to 2:30am. Replacements will arrive then so you can get a few hours of sleep.)

Second: A few of the students would like to go to Busch Gardens tomorrow to hang out with one or two of the college students back from break. I have told them that I will be there to hang out during the afternoon. We would love it if you would like to meet there and ride roller coasters for a few hours. I will be there by 1:00pm

Third: The Parent's Meeting scheduled for January 10th is postponed. That night will be a church-wide committee meeting so we will move the date back to fill in parent's on details of the coming year, and a timeline for the Gatlinburg mission trip.

tl;dr: RSVP for Lock-in; Last minute Busch Gardens Trip tomorrow; Parent's Meeting Postponed.
