🎉Inclusiveness, Diversity, and Awareness is important as we all want to feel loved and accepted.

🧦Today is World Down Syndrome Day and is marked yearly on March 21. (The 21st day of March was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome).

🧦World Down Syndrome Day is designed to observe and create awareness about Down Syndrome. This is a condition where children are born with an extra 21st chromosome.

Today to commemorate and celebrate WDSD please join with the Sorors of the Jael Omega, Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. - Tampa and Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc. to rock your socks!!! Post a picture if you colorful or mismatched socks.

💡Fun Fact: Socks are shaped somewhat like chromosomes.

In honor of all those affected by Down syndrome, I am rocking my socks! How about you????

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. We, the sisters Jael Omega, stand with our sorors of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority in honor of of those who have been diagnosed and living with MS.

What is MS?

🧡A disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves

🧡In MS, resulting nerve damage disrupts communication between the brain and the body.

There is currently no cure for MS but there are many different types of treatments that can slow the progression and reduce flare ups.

What a way to be a blessing!!! The sisters of Jael Omega Colony was able to feed 53 people in the community. It was our joy and honor to serve those during their time of need. To see a smile on their faces was a blessing to us.
