Meet the team at First Pres Tampa! ⭐️

Last but not least, we're highlighting Tim Glisson, our Facilities Manager.

Tim brings years of experience and expertise to First Pres, with a career background in machine design, construction, and home inspection. He uses that experience to care for our facilities and help keep our church running smoothly behind the scenes.

A family man at heart, Tim grew up as one of five kids and has raised two boys of his own with his wife, Sally. He loves building lifelong friendships and being part of the community he calls home.

Take a moment to thank Tim in the comments and share one thing you appreciate about the way he serves our church! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Meet the team at First Pres Tampa! ⭐️

This week, we're highlighting Angela Taylor, our Event Coordinator.

Angela grew up on a dairy farm in San Angelo, Texas, and has spent the last 20 years traveling the world with her Marine Corps husband and their two sons. After all those adventures, she's happy to now call Tampa home!

Angela brings her experience in event planning and her love for people together in her role at First Pres, helping create meaningful opportunities for our church family to gather, connect, and celebrate.

Take a moment to welcome Angela to the First Pres family in the comments and share one thing you're grateful for about the community we get to build together! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Last night, some of our First Pres young professionals had a blast playing golf, hanging out, and representing our church at an Isaiah 117 House event. They were grateful to hear the origin story of Isaiah 117 House directly from the Tampa founders and learn more about the incredible mission happening right here in our community.

At First Pres, we’re proud to partner with Isaiah 117 House because we believe this is what it looks like to be the body of Christ for a child on their worst day, the day they are separated from their mom and dad.

The Hillsborough County house is inches away from completion! Soon, it will open its doors to children in crisis, offering a safe place filled with comfort, care, and warm, open arms.
