Good morning. One thing this campaign is teaching me is how much politics has trained people to focus on appearances over authenticity. Some people are more concerned with whether you “look the part” than whether you actually care about the people. I’m not interested in building a fake image just to fit political standards. I want Tampa to see the real us from day one. Some of the best dressed politicians have done the least for their communities. This campaign will always choose authenticity over performance.
