LETS TALK ABOUT IT THURSDAY
Power Supply
Plugged In But Still at 1%
A great reminder post about the importance of staying connected to the source…..
We’ve all been there—your phone is on the charger, but it isn’t ready to use yet. You want to send that text or make that call, but you have to wait for the battery to hit 100%.
Life often feels the same way. We have big dreams and urgent needs, but God has us in a "charging season."
The Truth About the Wait:
In Isaiah 40:31, the Hebrew word for "wait" is Qavah. It doesn't mean sitting idle on a bench; it actually means to be "bound together" or "twisted with."
Think of a charging cable. It isn’t just sitting near the phone; it is firmly connected. When you "wait" on God, you aren't just passing time; you are twisting your life into His. You are becoming one with His peace, His perspective, and His timing.
The Miracle of "The Exchange":
The verse says God will "renew" your strength. In the original language, this means "to exchange."
This is the power of the process: When you stay "bound together" (Qavah) with God, a divine trade happens. You give Him your exhaustion, your anxiety, and your "low battery" feeling, and in return, He weaves His everlasting strength into your soul.
Don't unplug too early. If you rush the process, you might run out of power halfway through the task. Stay connected to His Word until your strength is fully renewed. You aren't stuck; you're being powered up for what’s next!
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31
