As we gather today to celebrate the beautiful life and enduring legacy of Mother Emma Jean Houser, we ask that you continue to give the family the love, grace, and space they need as they cherish precious memories of their beloved mother, family member, and friend. Your continued prayers, encouragement, and support are deeply appreciated during this time.

While our hearts feel the weight of her physical absence, we rejoice in the promise of God’s Word:

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8

Today, we choose not only to mourn, but to celebrate a life well lived, a faith well kept, and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come. Let us gather with thankful hearts as we honor Mother Emma’s unwavering love, faithful service, and the impact she made on so many lives.

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Emma Jean Houser.

Mother Houser was a cherished member of our church family whose life reflected faith, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God. Her presence, prayers, and love for others have left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well lived and find comfort in the promises of God’s Word. We ask that you keep the Green, Mingo & Houser family and all who loved her in your prayers during this time of bereavement.
