We’re getting ready for an incredible few days at West Gate Baptist Church as we gather for our annual Missions Conference!

From September 9–12, we’ll have the opportunity to hear from three different missionaries as they share their stories, testimonies, and what God is doing through their ministries around the world.

We’ll spend time getting to know them, hearing how God has called them, and learning about the countries and people they are reaching with the Gospel. Most importantly, we’ll have the opportunity to encourage, pray for, and support them as they take the Gospel to places that need to hear it.

And as these special days lead us into Commitment Sunday, we’re praying that each of us will ask:
“Lord, what would You have me give?”
Come with an open heart and expectant spirit as we see what God is going to do through the missions program of West Gate Baptist Church.

Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to bless families across Tampa Bay through our Back-to-School Supply Drop-Off! 🎒📚✏️
We were so grateful to provide school supplies to so many families in our community and help make the start of a new school year a little brighter. We also held a special raffle for families who received supplies, giving one lucky winner a gift from our church! 🎁❤️

We’re thankful to serve our community not only today, but in ways that leave a lasting impact for years to come. Our hope is to continue showing God’s love, meeting needs, and being a source of encouragement during every season of life.

📚 Sometimes a bag of school supplies is more than just a bag of school supplies.

Today, we had the privilege of serving families right here in our Tampa Bay community through our School Supply Giveaway. What started with 100 bags of school supplies turned into an opportunity to meet families, make connections, lend a helping hand, and most importantly, show the love of Christ in a practical way. ❤️

We are so thankful for every volunteer who gave their time, every person who helped prepare the supplies, and every family who came out today. Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, we were able to make a difference in the lives of families as they prepare for a new school year. Our prayer is that the supplies were a blessing, but that the love behind them was an even greater one.

We don’t just want to tell our community about Jesus,we want to show them His love. 🙏

Thank you, West Gate family, for being the hands and feet of Jesus today. We can’t wait to see how God continues to use West Gate to make an impact in our community!
