The Church at Tampa

The Church at Tampa The Church at Tampa is committed to teaching and applying Biblical truth.

The 21st century church is responsible to continue the teaching of Jesus in a powerful and compelling way that results in a radical life change for all who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the payment of sin. This is taught in Paul’s words to the New Testament churches (Romans 12; Ephesians 1:15-23; 4:1-16; Philippians 2:1-18; Colossians 1:3-14 & 28; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-10

). From the beginning of the church in the first century in Jerusalem to the church in America today, we are committed, as part of His universal church, to teach, apply and live Biblical truth in every aspect of daily life, both as individual followers of Jesus and as a congregation. We are committed to obeying the Scripture in the local context of our lives together as His church (Acts 2:42-47). It is our prayer that through our obedience to Jesus’ commands and teachings, that those outside the community of Christ will be drawn to an authentic relationship with Him through Biblical truth being lived out and love for others being demonstrated (Matthew 22:34-40; Matthew 28:18-20; John 13:34-35).

2 days, 5 sermons, 2 devotionals teaching our students what it means to be an image bearer of God (Genesis 1) and how that relates to being a godly man, godly woman, being in godly relationships, and practicing strength in weakness! Oh yeah, and we had a ton of fun!

Our first Back to School Bash at our new property was amazing. We had a great time meeting our neighbors, handing out school bags and supplies, playing games, and sharing the Good News! Thank you, Lord!

Please join us as we celebrate the True meaning of Christmas together. Follow the Light to Jesus. We will celebrate together with lots of lights, decorations, food, singing, a skit and more. God made each of us to join together in worship!

”Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!“ (‭‭Psalm‬ ‭100‬:‭1‬-‭2‬)

Assurance!

May fellow sheep hear the Word and rejoice!

“And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We can rejoice in assurance, which results from the contentment of our soul as we reflect upon our state of God given grace!

Assurance is also a birthright and privilege, bestowed upon us as members born (again) into the body of Christ!

As Paul explains,

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The sheep know their Shepherd and He will not let them go.

Thank you Lord.
