The Church at Tampa

The Church at Tampa The Church at Tampa is committed to teaching and applying Biblical truth.

The 21st century church is responsible to continue the teaching of Jesus in a powerful and compelling way that results in a radical life change for all who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the payment of sin. This is taught in Paul’s words to the New Testament churches (Romans 12; Ephesians 1:15-23; 4:1-16; Philippians 2:1-18; Colossians 1:3-14 & 28; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-10

). From the beginning of the church in the first century in Jerusalem to the church in America today, we are committed, as part of His universal church, to teach, apply and live Biblical truth in every aspect of daily life, both as individual followers of Jesus and as a congregation. We are committed to obeying the Scripture in the local context of our lives together as His church (Acts 2:42-47). It is our prayer that through our obedience to Jesus’ commands and teachings, that those outside the community of Christ will be drawn to an authentic relationship with Him through Biblical truth being lived out and love for others being demonstrated (Matthew 22:34-40; Matthew 28:18-20; John 13:34-35).

Celebrating 10 Years. Last week, we celebrated 10 years of The Church at Tampa! We gathered together for communion, fellowship, and a potluck as we looked back with gratitude on all the Lord has done over the years.

We are thankful for His faithfulness, for the people He has brought together, and for every life that has been touched through this church family.

Ten years down, and we look forward to all God has ahead.

“To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations.” — Ephesians 3:21

Sometimes the Gospel is shared with a sermon. Sometimes it’s shared with a smile, a conversation, or simply a sign that points someone to Jesus.

One of the most meaningful moments from our mission trip was standing along the road, holding messages of hope for everyone who passed by.

“Can I pray for you?”
“Jesus loves you.”
“Jesus heals the brokenhearted.”
“Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.”

We may never know every life that was touched that day, but we trust God’s promise:

“So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose.” — Isaiah 55:11

Our job is to faithfully plant the seed. God is the One who changes hearts.

Please pray that every person who read one of these signs would remember the name of Jesus long after they drove away.

UCM Outreach Update…

Thank you to everyone who served and donated as we partnered with UCM to feed our homeless neighbors and provide clothing and hygiene items.

We are still in need of men’s clothing, especially:
• T-shirts
• Pants and shorts
• New socks and underwear

Thank you for helping us share the love and hope of Christ in our community.
