Last week, our ministry for 4th and 5th graders, Club 45, held its first event of the school year and welcomed 60% more kids than last year. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to invite their friends and build meaningful connections!

Our Backpack Blessing was such a special moment as we sent our students, teachers, and admin off into the new school year with prayer.

Remember, this Sunday, August 9th, Hyde Park is blessing backpacks for the upcoming school year! All kids and youth will receive a small gift. After the 9:30 a.m. blessing, kids are invited to head over to Hyde Park Kids to move-up to their new classrooms and celebrate the end of summer.

This week, Hyde Park is collecting for End 68 Hours of Hunger, Cornerstone Family Ministries, and Dunbar Elementary’s Santa Shop. Here’s what you can bring,

End 68: Stop by the front office to pick up a bag with a list of canned goods that End 68 will use to provide to meals to kids during the 68-hour weekend. (Check the comments for a copy of the list!)

Cornerstone: Donate disposable diapers that will be given to families in need.

Dunbar Elementary: Donate gently used items that can be purchased by students at Dunbar’s Santa Shop this upcoming Christmastime.

Who says you have to wait until December? 🎅☀️
Today we traded summer heat and rain for holiday cheer at our Christmas in July Pop-Up! Participants spent the afternoon creating festive projects, sharing ideas, and getting a little head start on the Christmas season.
The finished creations were incredible, and the smiles say it all. Scroll through to see some of the creativity that filled the room today!
