STAY READY IN THE WAITING

Readiness is not about a Moment—it is about a Lifestyle.

It means:

Daily Obedience

Genuine Faith

Consistent Prayer

Living Led by the Spirit

You can carry a Bible and still be empty.
You can attend church and still not be prepared.

It is like a phone with a low battery:
You can hold it and carry it, but...
if it is not charged, it will not last when you need it most.

So ask yourself:

Is my faith only public, or is it personal?

Am I living ready for Christ’s return?

If Jesus came today, would I be prepared?

Today is the day:
Do not delay repentance.
Do not postpone prayer.
Do not rely on appearances.

Be ready. Stay ready.

THE DIFFERENCE WAS THE OIL

In Matthew 25:1–13, Jesus tells the parable of the ten virgins.

All ten looked the same.
All had lamps.
All were waiting.

But only five were ready when it mattered.

The difference?
Oil.

The lamps represent outward appearance

The oil represents inward spiritual reality

The wise prepared for the delay.
The foolish assumed they had more time.

When the moment came, it was too late to borrow what should have been built personally.

Truth:
You cannot borrow someone else’s faith.

Not a parent’s.
Not a spouse’s.
Not a pastor’s.

Spiritual readiness is personal.

And the warning is clear:
The door will not stay open forever.

DON'T GET CAUGHT UNPREPARED

Have you ever been late for something important because you assumed you had more time?

What happens when you plan for an event, but the schedule suddenly changes?

What is the difference between looking ready and being ready?

BE READY. STAY READY.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:42, “Be alert, since you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.”

We are living in a time where it is easy to look prepared on the outside—but God is looking at what is within.

The question is not:
Do you look ready?

The question is:
Are you truly ready?
