CWU AREA III MEETING: August 24, 2018, at The Portico Café, 1001 N. Florida Ave, (old First United Methodist Church), Tampa 33602. Registration, with coffee and pastry, begins at 9:30 AM; the program starts at 10 AM. This year our theme is Let Your Light Shine, and our guest speaker is Ms. Roseanne Cupoli, from The Spring in Tampa.
Lunch will be a “boxed sandwich” from the new and trendy The Portico Café; the cost is $8.50 – you choose your sandwich from three choices:
Roasted Turkey or a Cuban or Veggie
When you register, -- deadline August 9th --you MUST let us know which sandwich you would prefer so the correct order can go in to the chef. Please call
Betty Brady (813-785-7004) or email her ([email protected]) for more information, and remember to register with her by August 9th.
The cost of the luncheon can be collected at the door when you arrive.
We hope you will join us for this important program about domestic violence and how an organization like The Spring can help in healing this national social problem. Guests are asked to bring a “hygiene item” (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, etc.) for the women and children at The Spring.
We will meet at the Clothes Closet (1551 N Franklin St in Tampa) at 9 AM on the morning of the event – Friday, August 24th – for transportation to The Portico Café or you may meet us at the Café at 9:30.
