Join Hillsdale for tonight's Summer Bible Studies and Activities.

Make plans to join us this evening for Hillsdale’s summertime schedule, which starts at 6:00 p.m.

Registration for Hillsdale’s Kids Club program opens at 6:00 p.m. at the Lobby Information Desk. Hillsdale’s teen ministry, Inside/Out Teens, also begins at 6:00 p.m. and offers a summer program of activities and weekly Bible studies led by Pastor Peterman.

Adults are invited to join Pastor Smith for his weekly Auditorium Bible Study, which begins with an informal time of fellowship, praise, and prayer around 6:00 p.m., followed by a two-part study starting around 6:20 p.m. As we celebrate the United States’ 250th birthday, I look forward to sharing a brief lesson each week on “America’s History and Spiritual Heritage.” The sovereignty of God and His providence are undeniable when you study our country’s founding. The second half of our weekly Bible study begins around 6:45 p.m. and continues my current series, “Jesus is Greater: Faith in the Supremacy of Jesus Christ.” This week’s topic is “The Peril of Apostasy and the Perseverance of the Saints,” drawn from Hebrews 10:26-39.

“As we come to Ezekiel 33 in our chronological study of the Scriptures, the focus shifts from God’s judgment on Egypt and the nations (Ezekiel 29-32) to the prophet Ezekiel and his calling to serve the LORD as His watchman. His work was not enviable, for he was to deliver to the people in Babylonian captivity a message they despised. Ezekiel’s task was to remind the nation of its past, discern the times, and declare God’s judgment if the people persisted in their sins.”

“Today’s second commentary is taken from Ezekiel 32.
Like Assyria, Ezekiel foretold that Egypt’s fall would be so great that “the hearts of many people” would be troubled. Ezekiel also prophesied that Egypt’s fall to Babylon was determined.
Nebuchadnezzar’s army would wreak havoc across the land and plunder Egypt’s treasures. Pharaoh and Egypt would not be spared or favored above the nations.”
