God is a consuming fire is not just about His judgment or discipline. It is also about his glory and majesty. If God is disciplining you, it is because he loves you. When sin invades your heart, it can wreak havoc on God’s purpose for your life. Because God loves you and has a great plan for you, he will continually point his finger at any area of sin in your life so he can remove them (Hebrews 12:25). “The fire of man has no power over those burning with the fire of God.” Join TLCC “Morning Glory”, with Minister Freddie Battley on Saturday mornings for 7 AM Intercessory Prayer.

When life seems hopeless, problems are overwhelming, and you feel all hope is lost, midnight praise and prayer will put off the hopelessness as you praise God lifting up holy hands in faith from a heart of love, casting all your cares on Him. Praise God, then cry out to Him in prayer, knowing He hears and will deliver you. (Psalm 34:17). Join Pastor Steve Oliver, PRAYING4YOU Ministry, on Fridays at midnight for Midnight Intercessory Prayer.

One of the hardest things to do when we feel we are losing control is to let go, especially when we want to determine the outcome. Letting go may make us feel vulnerable, but in that vulnerability, we discover divine strength. It is in the act of yielding our will to God’s will that we come to understand the quiet power behind the Lord’s words: “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). It means letting go of worries, fear, and control; to surrender the outcome to God’s will and wisdom; trusting in His timing, power, and design—even when it feels uncertain or undesired. This isn’t about giving up; it’s about trust. (Proverbs 3:5-6). Join TLCC Bible Study with Rev Dr Clifford Holloway on Thursdays at 7 pm. Facebook Live, YouTube, and Tlcconline.com

Trusting God (Luke 6:46-49) As believers, God leads us from where we are to where He wants us to be. His path may not always make sense, and we may not understand what He is doing. Still, we are called to serve Him wherever we are, even when it is not where we would have chosen to be. We are called to live in a way that shows Jesus is more precious than life itself. Join Pastor Steve Oliver, PRAYING4YOU Ministry, on Fridays at midnight for Midnight Intercessory Prayer.

Believing in God is one thing; trusting Him fully is another. It is natural to fear the unknown, and all of us struggle at times to place our whole trust in Him. Faith believes that God is who He says He is and that only He can do what He promises. Trust goes further—it chooses to act on that belief. Many of us know God’s power through Scripture and personal experience yet living out that belief can still be difficult. Trusting God is a wholehearted choice, and no matter what we face, He is always with us. (Psalm 37:7) Join TLCC Bible Study with Rev Dr Clifford Holloway on Thursdays at 7 pm.
