What a blessing to be part of distributing 6.5 million meals across the US this summer. Trucks have officially delivered food in all 50 states, commemorating the birth of our country 250 years ago. We are grateful for religious freedom that allows us to worship freely and allows others to do the same.

“During this time of celebration, it’s great to turn outward, think about others and what they may need. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints locally and internationally is laser-focused on serving God by serving others,” said President Kasey Hess, of the Tampa Florida Stake.

The Dade City Spanish branch had the opportunity to attend the Fort Lauderdale temple this weekend! They sacrificed their day to drive all the way there to serve and feel the spirit of the Lord in His house. We are grateful we still have a temple within driving distance, and can’t wait for the one in Tampa! We love our Spanish branch! 🩷

WHAT A HIT! Survivor: Marriage Edition was tonight and wow, did we have a great turnout. We had yummy food, great company, and even better tools to learn to strengthen our marriages. We discussed Jesus Christ being the center of your marriage and tools to help guide couples to become closer to each other. The Stake Relief Society did such an amazing job putting this event on, and if you didn't catch this one, there may be one coming to a Tampa Stake building near you 👀

The Dade City Ward and Wesley Chapel Ward primaries had an incredible week learning to Walk with Christ at their Valiantly Becoming like the Savior activity!

Three fun-filled days of crafts, games, activities and service all centered on Christ!

When asked, the majority of the kids said the highlights of the week were the faith walk, filling 71 snack bags to donate to the Ronald McDonald house, and the snow cones!

Check out our morning at Feeding Tampa Bay! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated 40,000 pounds of food today, and tomorrow will be going out to feed children all across the west central Florida area.

President Kasey Hess said, “It’s all about unifying each other, no matter what our religious or political backgrounds, we are all in this country together, and we need to serve our neighbors.”
