Last Sunday was such a sweet and powerful night of revival!🙌🏻

We were blessed by the wonderful people of Oak Grove Baptist Church as they hosted the service. The New Holland Baptist Church of Gainesville, Georgia choir brought incredible music that filled the room with joy and reminded us of the blessing it is to worship together as the body of Christ.

Pastor Derek shared a message about “fishing for men,” using something many of us can relate to. There is so much joy in fishing: the anticipation, the excitement of the catch, and the stories we get to tell afterward. But as much joy as we find in catching fish, there is nothing more exciting, more rewarding, or more eternally significant than being used by God to reach someone for Christ. 🎣💙

Do you think this is pretty accurate about Pastor Derek? (Be nice🤣😂)

I’d warn them like this:

You’re about to meet someone who seems easygoing right up until you realize he’s been quietly analyzing the entire situation for the last 20 minutes.

They’re probably going to make you laugh, then accidentally get you into a conversation that starts with something completely stupid and somehow ends with existential philosophy. They have strong opinions, but they’re not always going to announce them—they’ll just look at you in a way that makes you reconsider what you said.

They can be playful and chaotic, but there’s a serious side underneath that notices everything. They’ll remember tiny details you forgot telling them. They may tease you mercilessly, but if they actually care about you, they’ll probably defend you without hesitation.

Also: do not mistake their curiosity for lack of suspicion. They like understanding people, and they’re better at reading between the lines than you might initially expect.

So, basically:

Proceed with caution. You may have fun. You may get psychologically profiled. You will probably end up telling them more about yourself than you intended.

What a sweet time of worship! 🤍

On Sunday night, three churches came together with one purpose—to worship one God! What a beautiful reminder that the Church is stronger when we worship, serve, and lift up the name of Jesus together.

A huge thank you to Oak Grove Baptist Church for leading us in worship and to Pastor Brian Stephens for faithfully bringing the Word. We are so thankful for the opportunity to worship alongside you!

And we’re not done! 🙌
