I spoke with Brother Steve Hillman yesterday and we decided to post this. Services at Mound Baptist Church has been suspended until further notice.
There are several of our members and their families who have been affected by the virus in one way or another. Some have respitory infections. We have members battling other illnesses.
It is very important for all of us to come together in our prayers and pray for each other..Each of us pray that our love for each other be strong enough to continue to carry us through this time. Love to all.

Generally in the month of October we have our annual Homecoming. This year we are not having a Homecoming service. Due to the pandemic we will pass up this service and plan for a bigger better service. We look forward to hearing from you.

This Sunday, July 5, at Mound we will vote on Steve Hillman as Pastor. Steve grew up around Epps Louisiana. He was ordained at Calvary Baptist Church in Goodwill Louisiana, in 1992.He has served in the Prison Ministry, has pastored several churches in and around Delhi. Steve also was Pastor of the Leather and Grace motorcycle Club which was Sponsored by Epps Baptist Church. During this time he was featured on the LA Rider Show which airs on Saturday nights. Besides pastoring, he assists the family with farming and is pianist for a gospel group. We wish to remind all of our members to come and show your love and support foe Brother Steve.

This coming Sunday, June 21st, Brother Steve Hillman will be presented to Mound Baptist Church, for the Pastor position. The following Sunday, June 28th, we will vote on Brother Steve. Please keep this in mind and come cast your vote.

My God is a miracle worker and He is able to control ALL things.
Also our services have been picking up in attendance and for that I am thankful.
Als on the 25th of June I will be having surgery on my eye which will be done to help save my vision.Please remember me during this procedure and pray God guides the hands of the surgeon.
Remember if you do not have a church home you will be welcomed at Mound. God bless each of you.

Always remember to pray and thank God for all He has given to us. Remember God works in His time and not necessarily in our time. How ever prayer is our communication with God. Our prayers are always answered according to Him and His plan.

Let us take time today to remember all of the fallen soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifices and loved ones all over the land. If you see a veteran, a soldier, thank them for their service. Thank God for His protection over all of us. Continue to remember our country, our leaders, and pray for those who are ill and suffering from Covid 19. Our land, our family, and our hearts need a healing ang only God can do that miracle healing. Put your trust in HIM!,,
