In some way or another, we all suffer; whether it be losing a deeply important person or experiencing generationally-rooted depression, we all feel a burdening sense of pain. If you too want to understand suffering, we humbly ask that you join us as we explore it from a true, Biblically-rooted perspective. We hope to answer questions such as, "what should be our attitude towards suffering?", "why do we suffer if God is good?", and "what is the hope of the resurrection?" and many more! In every age, God has drawn near to those who humble themselves before Him. When hearts are broken and spirits are low, He is not distant. His nearness is felt through prayer, through His Word, and through the quiet assurance that He works all things for good for those who love Him. 💔

The Father does not promise a life without trial, but He does promise His presence and His salvation to the contrite. The Lord Jesus himself was “a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief,” yet through that suffering came redemption and hope for all who follow him. 🌅

Let this verse remind us that even in seasons of sorrow, God is at work preparing hearts for His Kingdom...where every tear shall be wiped away and joy shall fill the earth.

✨ Join us for our upcoming Study Day as we reflect together on overcoming suffering and the comfort found in God’s nearness. Come share in study, prayer, and encouragement as we strengthen one another to look toward the hope of the Kingdom to come.
