St. Mark All the Meats Raffle
Raffle tickets to win a Dumas Meats gift card are on sale now and will run through August 9th. Drawing will be held at the Cruzin' with Christ event on August 9th, at 12:30 PM. Winners need not be present at the event to win. There will be three gift cards available for winners, $100, $200 & $400. Raffle tickets will be $10 each, 15% of the proceeds of the ticket sales benefit Heifer International. Tickets can be purchased in the church office or on Sunday mornings from a council member.

The Mary C. Hoffman Scholarship Fund was established to further post secondary education of St. Mark members and their families. Scholarships may be used for post high school education in college, trade school, seminary or post graduate school. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, scholastic aptitude, church and community participation. The application deadline is June 28th, 2026. Interested persons can find further information, as well as download an application form at: https.//www.stmark-lutheran.org/ scholarships.html.

Prayer for Pastoral Transition
Lord Jesus, it's the assurance of your unfailing love which enables us to trust you with the transitions we go through in life, and the uncertainties about the future. Change is never easy. Change makes us feel vulnerable, fearful, and insecure. We get tempted, once again, to be our own savior. Spare us that misery, Jesus; spare us and those we love. May your Word dwell in us richly and your peace rule in us powerfully; and may your glory be our main passion and greatest delight. Amen.
