This past Friday, our Father in Heaven called Ed Kean, one of our Elders, home to rest. While it is a tremendous loss for us here at Centerville Road and the Lord’s work here on Earth, Heaven has gained another faithful servant.
We were blessed beyond measure to have both Ed and David serving as our congregation’s Shepherds. They have served the Lord in a noble way in this role.
We look forward to the Final Day when we will be reunited not only with Ed but with all of our brethren who are but asleep until Christ’s return to be with our Lord and Father for all of Eternity. Praise God forever and ever.
“For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.”
