Last week, eight of our church teens along with two chaperones, traveled to Bowling Green, Ohio for the WELS International Youth Rally. The theme this year was Christ Through Us. This rally is held in a different location every two years and brings together WELS youth and leaders from all over the U.S.A. and even Canada. This year, over 2,000 were in attendance.

Our group drove approximately 1800 miles round trip, stopping at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky on the way up and spending time in Chatanooga, Tennessee on the way home. Our week in Ohio was filled with so much fun! Some of us met up with old friends and we all made new friends.

We met together for worship, attended a concert, played soccer, went swimming, and so much more. Both leaders and teens attended various classes covering themes such as Encouraging the Encouragers, Resting In Jesus, Becoming a Man After God's Own Heart and many more. We ended our week together celebrating communion with over 2,000 brothers and sisters in Christ. What a great and blessed week!

Our School Supply Giveaway was a tremendous success! All 100 backpacks were distributed by 10:45 a.m.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to purchase supplies, volunteered their time, and helped make this event possible.

We were blessed to serve so many grateful families, and their smiles made it all worthwhile.

Thanks be to God for His many blessings and for allowing us to be His hands and feet in our community.

Another beautiful sunrise service at Maclay Gardens. A lot of volunteers help make the start of our Easter morning great.
