⚜️ Meet Our Leaders! ⚜️

Next up in our Meet Our Leaders series is Telisha, our New Member Coordinator! 🐻💙

Telisha has been involved with Pack 38 for about 10 years, ever since her oldest son joined Cub Scouts in kindergarten! Over the years, she has worn many hats, including Treasurer, Den Leader, and Events Coordinator, and we’re so thankful for all the ways she has served our Pack. ❤️

What Telisha loves most about Scouting is watching kids build leadership skills, confidence, and independence while exploring the outdoors and having wholesome fun as a family. She loves that Scouting creates opportunities for both kids and parents to share experiences and make memories together. 🏕️✨

👦👦👦 Fun Fact: Telisha is a mom of three boys, so Scouting has been a pretty big part of their family life for the past decade! ⚜️

We’re so grateful to have Telisha helping welcome new families into our Pack and sharing her years of Scouting experience with our Pack 38 community!

⚜️ Meet Our Leaders! ⚜️

Next up in our Meet Our Leaders series is Thea Voran, our Pack Volunteer Coordinator! 🐻💙

Thea has been part of Pack 38 for 4 years and loves the incredible community that Scouting has created for her family. Not only have her kids made wonderful friendships, but she and her husband have built friendships and connections that have become such an important part of their lives. ❤️

One of her favorite things about Scouting is watching her kids’ faces light up as they learn new life skills, try new things, and make lifelong friends. There’s nothing quite like watching your kids grow through experiences you get to share together!

🏕️ Fun Fact: Thea is a SAHM to two little ones who have been our unofficial Pack mascots since they were born! 😂 They come along for every campout and pretty much every Scouting adventure. So, whenever you see Thea, chances are you’ll see the kiddos following right behind her in a little line! 👣💙

We’re so thankful for Thea and all she does behind the scenes to help bring our Pack together and keep our volunteers connected. And of course, we can’t forget our two littlest Pack 38 members who are always along for the adventure! 🥰⚜️

⚜️ Meet Our Leaders! ⚜️

Next up in our Meet Our Leaders series is Katherine Mealor, our Arrow of Light (AOL) Den Co-Leader! 🏹💙

Katherine has been involved in Scouting for an incredible 9 years, ever since her 8th grader (now a Scout in Troop 44) joined Pack 38 in Kindergarten. She has also had the privilege of leading our current AOL Scouts since they were Lions! 🦁

What Katherine loves most about Scouting is watching Scouts learn new skills, experience activities they may not otherwise have the opportunity to try, and grow in confidence and leadership along the way. She also loves that Pack 38 has helped her build connections with other families from her children’s school and create a strong sense of community. ❤️

When she’s not with her AOLs, Katherine is busy teaching Pre-K at Holy Comforter, working with youth at her church, or planning a Disney trip for herself or her friends! ✨🏰

🌎 Fun Fact: Katherine spent an amazing 5.5 weeks in France this summer! 🇫🇷

We’re so grateful for the years of dedication, leadership, and heart Katherine has given to Pack 38. Thank you for everything you do for our Scouts! ⚜️🐻

⚜️ Meet Our Leaders! ⚜️

Last but certainly not least for today, meet Betty Zachem, our Arrow of Light Co-Den Leader! 🏹💙

Betty has been involved in Scouting for over five years in various roles. All three of her boys have been part of Pack 38 since 2021, with two already crossed over into Troops!

One of Betty’s favorite parts of Scouting is watching a Scout’s slight curiosity turn into a genuine interest. You never know which spark will take hold, but you can keep offering them opportunities to discover something new. ✨

When she’s not volunteering with Scouts, Betty loves traveling and going on adventures with her family, including cave tubing in Mexico as pictured below! 🌎🧭

We’re so grateful for Betty and the experience, encouragement, and adventure she brings to our Pack! Thank you for all you do for our Scouts! ⚜️❤️

Tiffany is in her fourth year of Scouting and loves being able to be part of her son’s Scouting adventure while also being involved with our entire Scout community. She especially enjoys the new friendships and adventures that come along with being part of the Pack!

When her family isn’t busy with Scouts, they love spending time outdoors and enjoying new adventures together! 🏕️🌲

First up in our Meet Our Leaders series is Michelle Pellito, our Webelos Den Leader! 🐻💙

Michelle is starting her fifth year in Scouting and loves being able to participate in Scouts alongside her family. Through Scouting, her family has made so many wonderful friendships and lasting memories.

When she’s not volunteering with our Pack, Michelle also enjoys volunteering with her school’s PTO. We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and heart she gives to our Scouts! ❤️

And just like that… we’re back! ⚜️🐾

Our first Cub Scout meeting of the year is officially in the books, and what a great way to kick off another year of adventures, learning, friendship, and FUN! 🏕️

It was so exciting to see our Scouts back together, welcome some new faces, and start building the memories that make Cub Scouting so special. 💙

A huge thank you to our amazing leaders, volunteers, and families who help make all of this possible. It truly takes a village, and we’re so excited for everything this year has in store!
