Canopy Kidz Helping kids experience Jesus. Partnering with parents to raise their kids to love and follow Him. Our focus is ages Birth through the Fifth grade.

Canopy Kidz is the children’s ministry at Canopy Roads Baptist Church. Our goal is to bring God's word alive in the kids' hearts and help lead them to a relationship with Jesus, all the while loving them to pieces! We want to make it real to them and help them apply Scripture to their lives whether it's at home with with their families or on the school playground. Through Lifeway's the Gospel Proj

ect for Kids, every Sunday morning, kids will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. They'll experience an interactive large group time which engages the heart and they'll also participate in grade level small group activities to make the connection of how the story applies to their own life. We feel it's important to have both large group and small group time. God is going to use both of those times to reach the kids! Canopy Kidz has a dedicated group of volunteers leading the children. You can rest assured that all leaders have gone through proper background checks and are most of all love helping children encounter Jesus and experience His great love for them.

VBS is about a month away and we will be bringing Ireland to Canopy Roads! 🌈🐑🍀 The week before VBS we will have Decoration Work Days all week. Today was a special one in Kids Ministry as our amazing 5th graders spent their last Sunday with us in Children’s Ministry. 🥹

It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have gone by. We are going to miss their smiles, energy, questions, laughter and the way each of them made our ministry better just by being here.

While we’re sad to see them move on, we are so excited for all God has ahead for them in middle school. We pray they continue to grow in faith, walk boldly with Jesus, and remember they will always have a home in Canopy Kidz!

5th graders, we love you, we’re proud of you and we can’t wait to see all God does in your lives. ✨📖✝️
