The Parish and Neumann Retreat Center Offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th in honor of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom from slavery, granted through the Emancipation Proclamation signed on January 1, 1863.

Join us for two events to say "Thank you" to Fr. Sean, for his love and guidance here at Blessed Sacrament. We send our blessings and prayers as he will be leaving us to serve the Parish of Sacred Heart Cathedral - Pensacola.

On Saturday, June 27, join Fr. Sean for 5 PM Mass then attend the Farewell Reception for him at 6:15 PM in the Parish Hall.

On Sunday, June 28, join Fr. Sean for 12:15 Mass then attend the Farewell Picnic Lunch for him at 1:30 PM in the Parish Hall. Bring a favorite dish for the picnic.

✝️ The FCCB enjoyed their annual staff retreat with our chaplain, Fr. Tim Holeda of the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More. It was a beautiful day of refreshment — filled with faith, food, and fellowship. We are so grateful for Fr. Tim's spiritual guidance and for time set apart to renew our hearts and strengthen our community. 🙏

The Neumann Center office will be closed on Monday as well.

Our church office will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. We pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

The office will reopen on Tuesday at 9am.

Come Holy Spirit!

Happy birthday to the Catholic Church! The word Pentecost is Greek and it means "50th day." Fifty days after Easter Sunday, we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and their followers, and the beginning of their Earthly ministry to make disciples of all nations.

The symbols of Pentecost are the flame, wind, and the dove, which represents the Holy Spirit. On this day, the Holy Trinity is fully revealed with the descent of the Holy Spirit. Come, Holy Spirit!

For the last several months, the main trail at the Neumann Center has been the labor of love for Avery Wallace. Avery selected the Neumann Center trail for his Eagle Scout project. We are proud of him as he was recently informed that he earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouts BSA.
