Naomi experienced a devastating amount of grief and suffering, but she allowed that pain to redefine her when she changed her name to Mara, meaning “bitter.”

That’s the danger of unresolved hurt — it slowly drips until it becomes your identity. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. We serve a God who wants you to bring Him your pain. Don’t let bitterness have the final say in your name ❤️‍🩹
