From the Artist: “The Hebrew word בראשית (pronounced “beh-reh-SHEET” or “beh-reh-SHEES”) is the Hebrew title for the book of Genesis, the first word in the Bible, and (translated literally) means “in the beginning”. When reflecting on the book of Genesis/בראשית, I am drawn to this awe-inspiring concept of beginning—the beginning of creation, of the universe, of nature, of mankind, and (most importantly) of the relationship between God and mankind. I hope this piece of artwork will inspire you to reflect on and praise God for both the beauty of His written revelation to mankind, as well as the beauty of His creative handiwork in the natural world around us.”

Calvary Family! From the outpouring of your generous hearts we have an exciting update from Africa!

Pastor Kent writes, “Isaac and family finally got their car. They had to go through government red tape for two weeks. But now have it in there possession.

It’s a Toyota 2015 Hilux pick-up. It was imported a year ago. It has very low mileage. It is one of the most durable vehicles in the world. It is a work horse. A 4x4 and seats 5.

Church, this is what you blessed them with by your donations in November and December last year. I love my church!!!”
