April is Second Chance Month and it is a clear reminder that each of us is more than the worst thing we have ever done.

As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect God’s mercy even to those the world may see as the most undeserving. His mercy is not limited by circumstances, sentences, or the labels placed on a person’s life. No life is beyond the reach of restoration 🩵

Truly believe the best way to start off 2026 is sharing Noah’s testimony! His story offers a vulnerable and honest glimpse into the realities many incarcerated individuals have experienced, but his story isn’t over.

When the gate finally opens, Noah talks about finding the nearest ocean and stepping into the water as a way to leave the weight of his past behind and start fresh. We are confident this day will come soon and it is so evident God has a great purpose and a plan for his life. This is only the beginning! Take a few moments to read and put yourself in his shoes, and we promise you’ll find a level of understanding for those on the inside you may not have experienced before.

Just a few of the gifts from our impromptu year of Angel Tree! Truly thankful for the donations provided that allowed the ministry to pick up the remaining kids in the area so they could receive gifts from their incarcerated parent. These families carry a heavy burden quietly, and we hope to continue elevating their experiences and coming alongside them in these seasons 🤍

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas at Wakulla CI along with our annual service project writing cards to the students in the juvenile system!

We are so thankful for the residents who have a passion and calling to give back to their community and encourage these students to take a different path. Thank you so much to everyone who donated cards and food, to the volunteers who helped serve and the staff who made the event possible!

Just a small handful of the prayer requests we’ve received, and only a glimpse of the deep and widespread needs lifted up by residents across the state.

As we enter this season of celebration, we want to pause to pray for our incarcerated brothers and sisters in Christ. We pray that God’s hope and comfort surround them, and that they are assured of the love of those who remember them beyond the gates.

Within the walls of WCI, Eden’s leadership truly shines. Every time we visit, we are incredibly humbled by the way he carries himself with strength, accountability, and wisdom.

We are so excited to share his story on the choices we ALL make as he reminds us that we should be living each day preparing our hearts knowing that hope and redemption is in reach.
